"Quiet luxurious apartment"
The apartment is perched on a hill a few miles from Panjim. very quiet with wonderful bedrooms with attached bathrooms and a good kitchen, TV and a/C. The helpful cleaner lives below. You need transport to get around and the caretaker gave us the number of a guy who rent chauffer driven cars (Sandesh), he was excellent and cheap.

"Great Property at Scenic Location"
I was with my family (6 adults and 2 kids) and stayed for 4 nights in the last week of January. I booked the property through 'The Other Home' and got excellent service by the local manager Ms. Lourdes. The best part of the trip was a tour to Spice Farm organized by local manager. Great property at best cost.

"My Stay in Goa"
This vacation rental is a wonderful make you feel at home rental. The rooms are all self contained and was just wonderful for us since we were with 3 other couples. The staff were very friendly and was able to advise us on taxi, food, etc. I would personally recommend this to vacationers as I would personally return to GOa and stay here.

"Excellent facility, helpful staff, extremely safe location"
I stayed here for 4 nights and found the place to be excellent in terms of living space, overall facilities. In addition the staff Mrs. Lobo and Veeru went out of their way to help us. I highly recommend this palce to a family or even a group of friends looking to have a good time on Goa.

"THE place to stay in Dona Paula, Goa"
The name - Goa Vacation Homes - is a little misleading as one expects a rabbit warren of tiny apartments,but instead is flabbergasted surprised by the gigantic four bedroom fully equipped flat one walks into. An experience I will always cherish will be sitting on the main balcony overlooking the bay listening to a Goan wedding playing traditional mandos in the distance, all the while, jamming with a rock concert in the other direction!
Another big plus is not just the peace of the neighbourhood; not being hassled by tourist traps, but also the efficient caretaker/security guard/oddjob boy - Viru.
We wish we could have stayed longer, or better yet, moved in permanently!.

"Your home in Goa on your holidays!"
We had fantastic holidays in Goa. Thanks to your apartment, we felt at home. We were four couples and with my1.5 year kid. We all enjoyed staying at the apartment thoroughly. For my daughter, we could prepare home food in the kitchen. Overall, the apartment is exactly like what is shown in the website - cozy, clean, neat and well maintained. The scenery from the balcony of the bedroom is awakening. Most of our fun-filled time was spent in the hall. We wished if we had planned to stay longer! Thank you very much Dominic for making our holidays memorable.
Tip for other visitors: Restaurant "Sea Pebbles" on the Dona Paula beach, very near to the apartment, is highly recommended for fantastic sea food dinner (we went there twice in our 3 nights stay!). Lastly, thanks to Beeru for excellent hospitality!
Looking forward for our next holidays at GOA vacation homes!

"Best experience in India: Goa Dona Paula..."
We reached there at nite... in z beginning we thought where was z taxi man taking us...but wen we reached n entered z apartment we were amazed... it was so wonderful n out of z world both inside as well as z view extending to our eyes outside...
we spent 3 nights n 4 days there... we enjoyed all facilities and the maid service was perfect... tip top clean everyday frm bedroom to bathroom going thru kitchen and all... We got good food from a joint nearby on delivery which was quiote fast as proposed by housekeeper on our first nite...
All attractions and activities are within reach of the apartment...
We are definitely going back to this place again and very soon!

"I had a      star stay!"
This is a very well maintained property in a relatively quiet lovely neighbourhood of Goa. The caretakers were very efficient, the property is within short driving distances for most essential purchases, cooking facilities are adequate, the property is within walking distance to a resort and the driver recommended by the caretaker exhibited extensive knowledge of the various attractions including the beaches of Goa. The majority of the attractions can be reached in 20 to 50 minutes. We stayed at the property between Dec17-22, 2010 and would return without any hesitation whatsoever.

"What you see is what you get - Great property"
I booked this property for a four day vacation in Goa with my extended family in India (4 families including my siblings' and parents). Following is a detailed account of my experience at this propert.
Checkin: We were driving from Hampi in Karnataka. Due to the road conditions we couldn't get to Goa in time and arrived at 12:30 am (just after mid-night). Lourdes Lobo, who is the manager of the property, was very patient and helpful in completing our check-in. She reassured me during my journey to Goa that there is no need to worry about checking-in and she will be awake as long as it takes for us to get there. This is just awesome.
Property inside: What you see in the pictures is what you get. The property is clean and beautiful. All the furniture is first-class and fixtures and utensils were of good quality. There was an issue with the bathroom faucet so I called Ms. Lobo and she had the problem taken care of right away.
Property location: It is in an upscale neighbourhood in Goa and is very close to the main highway in the city. Getting in and out of the location was very easy. One caveat is that the property is not on the beach, if someone is looking for it. It is about 1KM away from the closest beach. What it lacks in proximity to a beach, the property makes it up in views. Sitting atop a hill with no neighbours of same height, this property has spectacular views of the city (and the sea, of course). With glass windows all over the place, it had lot of ventilation.
Service: Ms. Lourdes was very friendly and courteous. She gave us tips and tricks of surviving in Goa and helped with our planning for the duration of our stay.
All in all, this is a great property to rent if you want to spend quality time with four or five families together.

"could not fault the accommodation"
We stayed here this year in august. A very pleasant stay, with great accommodation. The views were excellent; house was clean and well maintained.
The area was very nice and friendly. We had a hospital at walking distance, which was very much needed.
All in all a good stay and I would recommend this to all.

"The ideal escape"
We visited Goa during low season and enjoyed a week spent relaxing in this gorgeous apartment. We loved the big beds, air-conditioners, huge open plan living area (especially the amazing views)...
The location is perfect - walking distance from shops and restaurants, a short drive from the capital and the beach, and only half an hour from the top tourist spots (although we'd recommend hiring some scooters... such fun!).
The service was also wonderful, and we enjoyed being a bit removed from the tourist scene and able to meet some locals.
All in all, a brilliant week in a stunning apartment!

"Satisfaction Guaranteed"
Stayed in this beautiful apartment with a nice valley view as well as the sea. A perfect place for a big family to stay and enjoy GOA to its fullest. Being ideally located we could go to almost all the tourist attractions very easily . The apartment is apt for a comfortable stay , very clean , with all the basic requirements a person needs.
Though a washing machine/dish washer wouldnt be out of place if made avaialble in this apartment.
Would definately visit again !!

"A Secret Hideaway"
I took a short break to Goa (17th - 20th June) with couple of my friends.
It was a business combined with leisure trip. I wanted a very private place, easily accessible and with basic amenities. I came across Dominic's home away holiday rentals and instantly decided to go with it. It's a nicely furnished, scenically located, 4 bedroom apartment and the main feature of this apartment is its view. All the 4 bedroom are well equipped with basic amenities with attached baths, also the apartment is very well maintained.They also have a kitchen.The ambience is very calm and safe. Miramar beach is just 10 minutes drive, you are ideally centrally located, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
I liked the professional approach, the character and the ambience of the place, it was a memorable stay, I surely look forward to spend few more days on my next visit to Goa.

"Beautiful Apartment!"
Clean and well maintained property. Matches the images and virtual tour shown on websites. The apartment is very open and breezy with lots of balconies and windows. The sitting and dining area together form a large common room. The bathrooms are clean and well equipped. Service provided by the care-taker of the property were good with cleaning done once a day. Location is good and peaceful as it is a residential area and on a hilly side. It is also close to Panjim which is central Goa. A vehicle is a must. There is no grocery shop that delivers at home and the nearest shop is about a killometre away. I would reccomend this place to anybody looking for a lovely homely stay in Goa.

"Holiday Apartment in Donna Paula"
This was my second year running that I had rented this beautiful spacious and well equipped holiday apartment. The views from the apartment are breathtaking. The whole ambience gives you the feeling of being home from home. The Manageress Lourdes and the caretaker Anand were very helpful once again making our stay special. This apartment is far better then stays in a deluxe hotel. I definitely recommend this apartment and will surely visit again next year.

"Breathtaking views...amazing house!"
We enjoyed memorable stay in Donna Paula apt, the house is very beautiful. All bedrooms are well furnished and clean. The house is located on mountain hill and offer panoramic views of the sea and surrounded by green lush coconut trees. Perfect for family stays. The property manager was helpful in arranging airport pick up or with car rentals. I highly recommend this place for stay.

"Perfect Paradise"
The perfect spot to base your holiday in Goa,not far from the Airport and the Capital city of Panjim. Donna Paula jetty and one of the Tourist attractions is a 15-20min walk from the apartment or a 5min drive. The onsite caretaker was always available to help while Lourdes the Manager was very knowledgeable and efficient. Monginis bakery and the Liquor store are a short walk for some quick provisions to enjoy sitting on the balcony looking across a carpet of swaying Palm tree.Cida de Goa a famous 5Star hotel closeby was great to celebrate our special day.
The Apartment was of a very high standard with all the convienience of home. The Plasma Cable TV was a hit with the teenagers who wanted their sports and music.Having some transport is a plus as there are great beaches around to enjoy, we loved Colva beach for its soft sand and water sports.
Would recommend this property to families and groups of friends as the 4 bedrooms are all a good size with attached bathrooms. We had a great holiday and will return next year to enjoy some more R & R that is uniquely Goa.

"For a ROYAL VACATION"
Our holidays are over and we are back to our places. It was awesome holiday n we had a great fun in goa.And your flat added stars in it. Most of my friends didn't expected the same flat as in the site but when they saw the exact same decor of the flat as shown in the site they were flattered.The flat was having every thing which was necessary to enjoy a holiday.And Miss Lobo guided us to visit exactly same places as of our taste.She was very helpful and we faced no problem during our stay.Once again I thank you for using your apartment and make our visit comfortable.
I would love to visit goa once again and stay in your flat.

"I had a      star stay! "
Although property could be rated 4 stars for facilities provided ,my stay was 5 star as we were well cared for by the manager,the apartment was kept very clean on a daily basis. The views from the property were outstanding. and property located near town and major hotels.Good value for money especially if going in a group of 8
